How does Remote Check Deposit work?
It works by using the camera on your phone to capture an image of the check. Endorse the back of the check by signing it and writing “for Mobile Deposit only” underneath your signature. The image is processed the same way as making a deposit at a branch or at an ATM. None of the check images are stored on your phone, so you can be assured that it is secure.
Is there a fee?
Deposits made to a personal membership account will not be charged.
After completing the mobile deposit, what do I do with the check?
You should retain the check in a secure location for 14 days and then, after confirming the deposited funds have been applied to your account correctly, destroy the check.
What types of checks are accepted?

What are my limits and how are limits determined?
Mobile Deposit dollar limits are set by West Michigan Credit Union based on the dollar amount and/or number of deposits. The following limits are in place for Mobile Deposit:
Maximum amount per deposit: $2,000
Maximum amount per day: $2,000
Maximum items per day: 3
Rolling 30 day limit: $10,000
How do I know the deposit went through?
A successful mobile deposit will show as “Mobile App Deposit” along with the dollar amount in your transaction history by the end of the following business day. You may also check back on the mobile app to see if the transaction was approved.
What are the mobile device requirements to do a mobile deposit?
Your Apple device must have software version 7.0 or higher and your Android device must have software version 2.1 or higher.
How do I reset my password?

How do I know my enrollment was approved?
You will receive an email confirmation once we’ve received your enrollment. If you do not receive an email within 1 business day, please check your junk filter or contact email@example.com for more information.
