Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging
Mission Statement: We aim to educate, advocate, engage, empower, and cultivate a culture for growth in our community by working together to become Simply Better.
In March 2023, West Michigan Credit Union formed an internal Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging group. Meeting monthly to discuss topics and share unique experiences, the group strives to create all-staff trainings to better serve our members and the communities in which we reside.
Since originating, the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging group has grown to seven members and will continue to expand and evolve. WMCU is committed to making the community Simply Better by serving all members without discrimination based on race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, or religion.
